Rejection is Something To Embrace

Would you raise your hand if I asked you if you enjoy rejection? Most likely not!

When I first went into sales in my early 20's and then started my own business in my 30's, I soon learned that rejection was just a part of life and it came with the job. I think we actually shy away from going after our dreams because of the fear of rejection. And, I wonder as parents how often we protect our kids from being rejected thinking that we are helping them, when actually we need is to let them experience it.

Rejection can help you personally grow by teaching you resilience and perseverance. When faced with rejection, you have the opportunity to develop a greater sense of self-awareness and self-worth!

It can motivate you to work harder, be more creative, and explore different opportunities that you may not have considered before. Embracing rejection as a part of the growth process can lead to personal development, increased confidence, and a stronger sense of determination to achieve your goals.

Ultimately, I think what happens is you find your big why! When I was faced with rejection, it helped me determine just how badly I really wanted all the beautiful things I was envisioning for my life!
