Pressing Pause

In this season of my life, I am feeling a very strong need to press the pause button on a few things in my life. Anyone else feeling that way?

When we pause and wait on God, we give ourselves time to reflect, pray, and seek guidance from Him. It is during these moments of stillness that we are able to tap into our inner selves and listen to the voice of God.

Waiting on God can be challenging, as we live in a fast-paced world where we are encouraged to take action and make things happen. However, it is important to remember that God's timing is perfect, and He knows what is best for us.

By taking a pause and waiting on God, we open ourselves up to His wisdom and guidance. We can trust that He will lead us in the right direction and provide us with the strength and courage we need to face any challenges that come our way.

In the Bible, Isaiah 40:31 (KJV) says, "But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." This verse reminds us that when we wait on God, we will be renewed and strengthened to continue on our journey.

So, take some time today to pause and wait on God. Whether it's through prayer, meditation, or simply taking a few deep breaths, allow yourself to connect with God and listen to His voice. Trust that He has a plan for your life, and let Him guide you in the direction He wants you to go.
