Ask For Signs…

In my journey of loss, one of the most healing things I have learned  is to pray and ask God for signs from Him and signs my loved ones in Heaven. I am undoubtedly aware that they are with me all the time; sending love, cheering me on, and guiding me. In my heart, I know they want me to be at peace, be happy, and continue living my life with renewed purpose.

At the beginning of this year, I began feeling there was something larger I was to be doing in regard to sharing my story and my message of hope. This meant releasing some familiar and comfortable things I had been doing in order to make space for what God had in store for me. Letting go of the familiar and comfortable is NOT easy!

The morning of recording more interviews for my new podcast, and recording my new “Vision is Victory” course, I took a long walk. On that walk, I asked for signs that I was doing all the right things. I specifically asked my son, Cole, to send me something that day that would be very clear and totally unexpected.

After recording, I had dinner with some friends to celebrate. One of these precious friends happened to have been Cole’s realtor who helped me sell his condo after he passed away. We had not seen or really talked to each other in several years. At the end of the night, she handed me a box and said ‘I don’t know why, but I have kept this for you and feel like it’s the right time to give it to you.’ What she gave me was Cole’s keychain. This possession of his was something I had not once thought about in all this time; to top it off, his sister had given this to him as a gift.

I encourage you to start asking for your own signs and watching for miracles, like my son’s keychain.

These signs are just some of the ways I keep ‘Moving Through and Beyond’ which is what I have titled my new podcast launching tomorrow 11/11! (Cole’s birthday)

I asked each of my guests to share their story of trials, how they got through it, and share tips on how to thrive after moving through adversity. Hope you will tune in and share!
